Three Ways to Engage

Training

This is for: Cohorts seeking skill development and collaborative learning.

Practice-based training for cohorts of leaders developing Motivational Interviewing skills. Organizations enroll groups for hands-on skill development focused on real conversation patterns. Training emphasizes practice over theory and immediate application to daily work.

Format: Single or multiple sessions. Virtual delivery standard, in-person available.

Coaching

This is for: Individual leaders and managers with knowledge of MI seeking skill development.

One-on-one coaching for leaders who need practical support navigating difficult conversations about change. Examples: supporting behavior change, coaching staff through new practices, managing peer conflicts, or communicating with leadership.

Format: Multiple sessions, recommended 4 to start. Virtual delivery.

Advising

This is for: Leadership teams needing focused strategic support.

Strategic advising for leadership teams needing focused strategic support, exploring change communication approaches before larger commitments, or facing specific communication challenges requiring expert guidance.

Format: Collaboratively tailored to specific organizational challenges.

Evidence-based Methods

MI for Health training is grounded in Motivational Interviewing, a communication approach supported by more than 2,500 randomized clinical trials. This research demonstrates effectiveness across diverse populations, health conditions, and organizational contexts.

Methods taught are practical, skills-focused, and designed for organizational settings. Approaches apply across clinical work, staff supervision, peer collaboration, and organizational leadership.
