About
Why do so many change efforts produce so little?

What Drives My Work
Disengagement and turnover aren't the price of change. They're the price of communication left to chance.
Communicating change isn't about charisma or personality. It's a skill set you can build. Organizations that sustain change build systems to make communication reliable across every leader, every team, and every initiative. I help them get there.
What Makes Me Different
I believe that a change leader's primary role is to help people move toward change. It's not a plan, map, or framework. Yet these are what we offer. We give leaders technical tools to solve a fundamentally human problem and blame them when these tools fail. We owe them better. We own them and their teams dignity.

Biography
A former behavioral science researcher trained in change management and adult learning, I've spent 20+ years supporting mission-driven organizations through change. I've trained thousands of professionals in healthcare, human services, and other mission-driven settings — giving leaders shared language, insight into what's driving disengagement, and practical skills for daily conversations.
I hold a Master's in Education from Harvard University. I'm a faculty member with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, a board member of Motivational Interviewing in Leadership and Organizations, a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers, and a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner.

I am the Founder and Principal of Change with Dignity. I live in Maine with my family, where I hike, visit the ocean as often as possible, and stay deeply curious about how people grow — individually and collectively.
